A Saratov Airlines plane with 71 people on board has crashed shortly after takeoff, according to media reports, leaving no survivors. Local authorities are still looking into what caused the tragic incident.

A Russian passenger plane crashed on Sunday near Moscow shortly after takeoff, Interfax has reported. All of the 71 people on board were reportedly killed in the crash.

The circumstances that led to the tragic incident remain unclear. Reports said the Saratov Airlines Antonov An-148 plane had 65 passengers and six crew members on board. Rescue forces were rushed to the scene of the crash but asserted that there are no survivors.

The plane reportedly went missing from radars a few minutes after taking off from Domodedovo Airport. It then started descending at 3,300 feet per minute.
