US President Donald Trump wrote two tweets last night regarding North Korea and Iran. Trump mentioned North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-un, stating that he “won’t be around much longer.” Regarding Iran, he addressed the recent missile test.

After North Korea’s Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho dedicated his speech in front of the United Nations General Assembly to criticizing him, US President Donald Trump responded Saturday in a tweet: “Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N. If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man [North Korean leader Kim Jong-un], they won’t be around much longer!”

The US president also commented on the Iranian missile test that was carried out Saturday. According to reports, the missile has a range of 2,000 kilometers (about 1243 miles) and can carry several warheads. “Iran just test-fired a Ballistic Missile capable of reaching Israel,” he wrote. “They are also working with North Korea. Not much of an agreement we have!”

During Ri’s speech, he called Trump “a crazy and power-obsessed man who controls the nuclear button” and said that Pyongyang will make sure that Trump pays for his UN speech. Ri said that when Trump called Kim “Rocket Man,” he made an “irreversible mistake that will cause our missiles to visit all of the United States’ territory.” In addition, he announced that North Korea has almost reached the final stage of its nuclear program.

During his speech in front of the UN earlier last week, Trump addressed the North Korean threat. “Rocket Man is on a suicide mission for him and his regime,” he said. “The United States has great strength and patience but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea.”

Kim responded to Trump’s speech, warning that the US will pay for threatening his country. Kim’s warning prompted a tweet from Trump a few hours later: “Kim Jong Un of North Korea, who is obviously a madman who doesn’t mind starving or killing his people, will be tested like never before!”
