The staff at the Israeli Consul in New Delhi have contacted the injured, whose conditions are unknown.

Three Israeli tourists and an American citizen were injured on Monday in a car crash in north-eastern India. Their condition is unknown.

The crash took place in Spiti Valley between the towns of Manali and Leh. The four were taken to hospital after their vehicle veered off the road and fell into a gorge.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said they are aware of the accident and that the Israeli Consul in New Delhi had contacted the injured Israelis.
