The Israel Prison Service (IPS) has completed its evaluation of former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, ahead of his upcoming parole hearing.
According to Channel 2 News, the evaluation is mostly positive and does not include any piece of information that might prevent the parole board from approving Olmert’s request for an early release.
Olmert, who has been in jail since February 2016 on corruption charges, has reportedly been spending his time writing an autobiography and has expressed regret for his actions.
