Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has inaugurated a building at Jericho’s Istiqlal University in honor of a notorious Palestinian terrorist, Khalil Al-Wazir Abu Jihad.
Abu Jihad is one of the most celebrated Palestinian terrorists in history. He was second in command to Yasser Arafat and the founder of Fatah and the PLO. Abu Jihad is responsible for organizing attacks that killed 125 Israelis between 1960 and 1980 and was the architect behind the Munich Olympic Games massacre.
Fatah Deputy Chairman Mahmoud Al-Aloul also spoke about the idolized terrorist, “This leader Khalil Al-Wazir Abu Jihad whom everyone loved is a very important value in this Palestinian people’s conscience. He had an incredible amount of qualities that prepared him to be a leader on this path”.
For this generation to completely understand and know about its Martyrs and the founders of this revolutionary path and the significance, they should study the values of these leaders who led and died as Martyrs. They should study their values so that they will help them in completing this path,” Al-Aloul said.
According to Palestinian Media Watch, the newly unveiled ‘Martyr Abu Jihad Faculty Building for Administration and Military Sciences’ stands next to the sports complex that was also named by Abbas after the terrorist Atef Bseiso Atef.
Atef Bseiso Atef was a high ranking officer in PLO who was also involved in the Munich Olympics massacre.
