IDF forces arrested a man who crossed the border into Israel from Gaza on Saturday morning. The IDF has determined that the suspect was not planning to carry out a terror attack in Israel.

A man who crossed the border into Israel from Gaza on Saturday morning has been arrested by IDF forces. The suspect was not armed and according to the initial assessment, the man did not cross the border in order to carry out a terror attack.
The suspect was apprehended near the fence on the Israeli side. He is currently being interrogated.
Yesterday afternoon, a man was seen crossing from the Israeli side of the border into Gaza. IDF soldiers spotted the man and dispatched troops to the scene. Shortly thereafter, the man was identified as a Palestinian living in Gaza who was in Israel in order to visit family.
