A 24-year-old Palestinian rioter was reportedly killed by IDF gunfire during clashes in the West Bank on Monday. The Palestinian Maan News Agency reported that the late Ahmad Abd al-Jabbar Mohammed Salim was shot in the head after clashing with Israeli security forces in the Palestinian village of Jayyous, near Qalqilya.
Riots in the West Bank and Gaza began breaking out following US President Donald Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the Israeli capital. As reported on Thursday by JOL, two additional Palestinians died during riots and another one was critically injured.
One of the Palestinians, aged 16, was reportedly shot near the Palestinian village of Burin in the Nablus area; the other was reportedly killed during violent riots at the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. The third Palestinian is reportedly still in critical condition. The IDF is looking into the authenticity of these reports.
