Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded to coalition chairman David Bitan’s statements on Rabin’s murder, saying, “Rabin’s murder was a shocking political murder that we all denounce.”

After coalition chairman MK David Bitan’s statement that former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s murder wasn’t political, which caused a storm in the Israeli political world, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke about the matter saying, “Rabin’s murder was a shocking political murder that we all denounce.”
In a post on Facebook, Netanyahu wrote about the accusations against him in regards to Rabin’s murder.
“Since the murder, there have been continuous attempts to twist the historic truth and connect me to the incitement prior to the murder,” he wrote. The Facebook post included a video in which Netanyahu is seen speaking out against the accusations of incitement on various occasions.
