Former US Secretary of State Collin Powell wrote secretly his thoughts about Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump that he is a “national disgrace” and an “international disgrace.” Powell did not intend that his thoughts would become public but the US Buzzfeed website received the email where he made these statements that was addressed to Emily Miller, who previously worked as his assistant and later on became a journalist last June.

Powell, who served under 3 Republican presidents, criticized Trump due to his connection to racist groups and his questioning US President Barack Obama’s birthplace as well as religion: “He is in the process of self-destruction. The Democrats don’t have to attack him.”

At the same time, Politico reported last night that New York General Prosecutor Eric Schneiderman launched an investigation into the Trump Foundation. According to the report, the goal of the investigation is to ensure that the “Trump Foundation complies with the laws in place for the foundations activities in New York” as Trump allegedly defrauded donors to the fund.

Another problem that Trump is likely to face is research conducted by Newsweek Magazine that “may change the discourse about the elections.” MSNBC hinted that “foreign forces” may create conflicts of interest if the Republican candidate is elected that could create a “national security nightmare.”
