A protester wearing an Israeli flag found himself surrounded by Black Lives Matter protesters shouting “Nazis go home” at the Boston counter-protest. The incident ended peacefully as event organizers declared “no violence.”
Yesterday (Saturday), right-wing groups held a so-called free speech rally in Boston, without any visible presence of White Supremacists, while left-wing protesters including the Black Lives Matter movement stood across from them shouting. Among other things, a protester wearing an Israeli flag was recorded as left-wing protesters shouted “Nazis go home.”
Local law enforcement tried to prevent friction from the two sides while organizers from the Black Lives Matter movement yelled for the protesters not to use violence. It is unclear whether the shouts of “Nazis go home” were aimed at the protester for wearing an Israeli flag or for identifying as a Trump supporter. Some are calling the incident a left-wing anti-Semitic attack.

Luckily, no physical violence was used towards the protester. When asked why he came to the rally, the protester answered: “I want to show that people shouldn’t be afraid to voice their own views and opinions. You shouldn’t be afraid to go outside and say that you’re a conservative.”
