The photographs were taken in the 1960s and 1970s while Chagall was in Israel working on great masterpieces, such as the stained glass windows project at Hebrew University’s Hadassah Medical Center, which still stuns visitors today. Israel’s legendary photographer David Rubinger took the pictures of Chagall.
“Each print in the collection has been painstakingly chosen because of the unique story behind it and then prepared according to the highest standards in the professional fine art printing industry,” stated Jerusalem Publishing Atelier in regards to the commemoration project.
