There are international reports that ISIS terror leader Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi has been injured in an airstrike by the Iraqi Air Force.

There are international reports that ISIS terror leader Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi has allegedly been injured in an airstrike carried out by the Iraqi Air Force that was backed by the US Army. At this point, an official confirmation has not been received.
According to a report by Al-Hurra, a US-based Arabic language satellite radio station, the air strike is said to have occurred in south-west Iraq three days ago. The report stated that Al Bagdadi was targeted along with several senior level ISIS members.
The varied reports do not specify al-Baghdadi’s health situation except to state that he is in critical condition.
Continued airstrikes on ISIS by US forces has taken out an average of fifty members of the terror organization weekly including all of Baghdadi’s deputies in command.
Meanwhile, the fighting ensues in Syria. In the Syrian city of Al Bab, Turkish forces are working with local militias in cooperation with the Assad regime in order to take out ISIS. The Syrian army is approaching Raqqa, an area operated by the Kurds and their Arab partners. Furthermore, the battle continues in Mosul against ISIS in their effort to take full control of the western part of the city.
