The US Army has reportedly conducted two air strikes on ISIS targets in Somalia, hitting the village of Buqa in the northern state of Puntland.

The US Army on Friday carried out air strikes on ISIS targets in Somalia for the first time, a US official told the Associated Press.
The official said two strikes were conducted, the first one around midnight local time and the second several hours later. He reportedly spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter.
The presence of ISIS in the impoverished Horn of Africa nation has been on the rise.
