Over the past two days, approximately 70 hunger-striking Palestinian security prisoners were evacuated to hospitals following a deterioration in their health. 600 of the 750 prisoners involved in the strike have begun receiving medical treatment in the prisons.

Today (Monday) and yesterday, approximately 70 Palestinian security prisoners participating in the hunger-strike were evacuated to different hospitals following a deterioration in their health.

Over the past several weeks, 750 Palestinian security prisoners have been participating in a hunger-strike against conditions in the Israeli prisons. The leader of the hunger-strike is Marwan Barghouti.

Approximately 600 of them are being treated in special medical departments established in the prison due to the hunger-strike. The Israel Prison Service stated that no prisoners are in a life-threatening condition.
