A worker in Israel’s security agency Shin-Bet filed a sexual harassment complaint against several senior Shin-Bet officials. The employee claimed she underwent many years of sexual harassment and assault, both within Shin-Bet facilities and during Shin-Bet events that were held at different locations.
The complainant gave her mobile phone, which contains text messages of a sexual nature, to the investigators on the case. The complainant and one of her colleagues were recently indicted for integrity transgressions.
“There is no connection between the filing of the indictment and my client’s complaint,” clarified defense attorney Moshe Yohai. “The complaint is honest and real and is substantiated by strong evidence – text messages sent to my client from all the people she named to the Police Internal Investigations Department as well as people who witnessed certain situations during which she experienced the sexual incidents.”
