Passengers on a domestic Alaskan flight from Aniak to Anchorage were surprised to hear the captain’s announcement that there was a snake roaming free on board the airplane. A little boy discovered the snake sleeping under a bag after climbing his seat. The snake’s length was 1.5 meters and fortunately it wasn’t venomous.

The passengers remained calm after hearing the announcement. One of the crew members grabbed the snake by its belly and put it in a trash bag in an overhead storage compartment where it remained until landing. The plane landed without delays.
