A 60-year-old Israeli male is suspected of burning to death dozens of parrots in his backyard. Tomorrow (Thursday), an indictment will be filed against the suspect.
Earlier this month, police officers arrived at the suspect’s home after reports of a fire. The police officers noticed a burning cage filled with 110 parrots. As a result of the fire, 80 parrots died and some eggs were destroyed.
The investigation revealed that the home owner lit the cage on fire after an argument with his tenant, to whom the birds belonged.
