Two Israelis were injured by a Palestinian terrorist who rammed his car into them in the West Bank on Thursday afternoon. The attack took place between Mevo Dotan and Hermesh on Route 585. The terrorist, 26, from the village of Barta’a, was moderately wounded.
A Magen David Adom (MDA) team provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the wounded to a hospital in Petah Tikvah. The terrorist was taken to a hospital in Hadera.
Israeli media outlets report that the terrorist has been identified and is known by Israeli security forces. He was released from prison less than a year after he was convicted of terrorist offenses. Once he was located by the security forces, he was interrogated and transported to Hillel Yaffe Hospital.
