Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been named by the US ‘Times’ magazine as one of the 2019’s 100 most influential people in the world. He joins the list with others such as  Donald Trump, Lady Gaga and Egyptian footballer Mohamed Sala. “Israel is the country of Bibi,” the magazine said to justify his election.

The magazine describes Netanyahu who is set to be the longest-serving Israeli prime minister as someone who has endured and ”convinced the Israelis that they can not continue to be governed without him.”

”In spite of the dangers, Israel grows more prosperous. It grows more powerful. And as the election shows, sufficient numbers of Israelis believe not just that Netanyahu is partly responsible for that success but that he’s the nation’s indispensable man,” the magazine says.
