The White House press secretary announced today that a date has been set for the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The two will meet in about two weeks in Washington.

Shortly after he won the presidential election, Donald Trump announced that he intends to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu soon. This evening (Tuesday), the White House announced that the meeting between the two leaders has been scheduled. The two will meet in Washington on February 15.
According to the White House statement, two leaders will discuss a variety of security issues. “Our relationship with the only democracy in the Middle East is crucial to the security of both our nations and the president looks forward to discussing continued strategic, technological, military and intelligence cooperation with the prime minister,” White House press secretary Sean Spicer said today.
