U.S. President Donald Trump responded to the wave of anti-Semitic incidents throughout America: “Anti-Semitism is horrible and it’s going to stop and it has to stop.” On Monday, it was discovered that a Jewish cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri, was seriously vandalized over the weekend.

U.S. President Donald Trump said today (Tuesday) during an interview with MSNBC that “anti-Semitism is horrible and it’s going to stop and it has to stop.” Trump’s statement comes after many Jewish Americans stated that they are very concerned about the increasing number of anti-Semitic incidents.
After a Jewish cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri, was seriously vandalized over the weekend, family members whose loved ones are buried there came to the site in order to see whether their relatives’ gravestones were desecrated. Robin Rickerman, whose relatives are buried at the Chesed Shel Emeth Society, told Fox News that some of the people buried there were Holocaust survivors. “They shouldn’t have to endure any more trauma,” she said. “Let them be settled.”

Golda Burke also has relatives who are buried at the Jewish cemetery. Burke rushed to the cemetery today in order to check whether her loved ones’ gravestones were vandalized. “I can’t believe people would do that anywhere to anyone,” she said.
