Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump tweeted yesterday (Sunday): “The election is absolutely rigged by the dishonest and distorted media pushing Crooked Hillary – but also at many polling places- SAD.” This contradicts his running mate Mike Pence’s statement from earlier that day when he said: “We will absolutely accept the results of the election.”

In the same interview, Pence showed a different approach to issues regarding Russia and its alleged hacks into Democratic Party’s computer network. “The evidence continues to point in that direction,” said Pence. “There should be severe consequences to Russia or any sovereign nation that is compromising the privacy or the security of the United States of America.”

During the last televised presidential debate between Trump and his Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, the Republican Presidential Candidate showed a different stance from that of his running mate on the Syrian matter as well. Trump said that he doesn’t agree with the claim that the US needs to physically intervene if Russia continues to perform air strikes that benefit Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
