Israeli families may want to consider staying indoors on Thursday, the second day of the Passover Chol HaMoed, as rain and strong winds are expected all through the day.

The unstable weather will begin as early as Wednesday night, during which temperatures are expected to drop significantly, causing showers and possible thunderstorms all across the country.

Those who are still planning to travel on Thursday are best to avoid the south area streams, where there is a danger of floods. Instead, it is safer to travel in northern Israel and along the coastline.

Temperatures are expected to rise again on Saturday, ahead of the second Passover holiday.
