Yesterday, in a drive by shooting by Palestinian terrorists 7 Israelis were hit, including a 21 year old pregnant woman. The shooting occurred at a bus stop near the Town of Ofra located in the West Bank. IDF troops nearby responded by firing towards the vehicle, which fled.  

One of those wounded was a 21-year-old pregnant woman named  was in serious condition after sustaining wounds to her upper body. She was evacuated to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem.

According to Dr. Alon Schwartz of Shaare Zedek Hospital, ”The woman camehad lost a lot of blood”.

Doctors were forced to deliver the baby prematurely by emergency C-Section. The baby, just in the 30th week of pregnancy, was immediately transferred to the ward for premature babies at the Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.

This morning, the hospital’s director said the woman’s condition stabilized during the night after surgery, while the baby’s condition worsened and was now in critical condition.

The woman’s husband was also severely wounded, but after surgery is also in a stable condition. The other 5 who were shot at were hospitalized with ”slight” to ”moderate” injuries” in which 2 of them were 16 year old girls.
