After US President Donald Trump warned Iran of “playing with fire”, the US imposed sanctions on different Iranian bodies in response to Tehran’s recent missile test earlier this week.

Several days after Iran launched an advanced cruise missile test, the US stated that it will impose sanctions on the Islamic republic. The sanctions are not meant to violate the Iran nuclear deal, but will be imposed on 8 Iranian bodies due to terror-related activities and 17 bodies related to Iran’s missile program.

Meanwhile, a US destroyer has been sent to the coast of Yemen where it is expected to carry out patrols and escort other ships coming to the area. The warship was sent after a Houthi gang attacked a Saudi ship and killed 2 crew members.

As reported earlier by JOL, Trump tweeted that Iranian leaders “don’t appreciate how kind President Obama was to them.” Yesterday (Thursday), Trump spoke to reporters and refused to rule out a military option against Iran. “Nothing is off the table,” he said.
