A Samsung subsidiary has created smart technology for stray dogs that will make life on the streets safer in Thailand. The Watchdogs will be wearing a smart vest fitted with sensors and a camera.
Soon, stray dogs in Thailand will protect the streets and will identify different suspects and dangers in the cities. The chosen dogs will be part of a group known as the Watchdogs
Cheil, a Samsung marketing subsidiary, thought of the idea to create ‘smart vests’ for the dogs and thus create a better relationship with the community. “It will make people feel that stray dogs can become night-watches for the communities,” stated one of the team members who came up with the idea.
The vest will include a hidden camera that will be activated whenever a noise-sensor detects strong barking and will stream directly to the control room.
