Yesterday, Israeli airline company El Al delivered its first of 16 Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to Israel. The Dreamliner was met by many politicians and curious viewers.
Yesterday (Wednesday), Israeli airline company El Al delivered its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner to Israel from the US. The Dreamliner was met by Israeli ministers, MKs and US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman.
The new aircraft will begin operating in September and will first gain flight hours to Europe before moving to its expected North American destinations. El Al made a total order of 16 Dreamliner aircraft that are expected to replace the older models. The deal is considered the biggest in the history of the company.

The Dreamliner can fly between 200-350 passenger and will include many comfort features for business and economy class. “The Dreamliner aircraft are some of the newest and most advanced in the world,” stated El Al CEO David Maimon. “It has many operational advantages and is considered economical in fuel consumption and efficient in maintenance.”
