Officers from the Israel Border Police’s elite Mista’arvim unit arrested three Palestinians in Abu Dis on Friday. They were caught red-handed as they participated in violent riots and clashes with IDF forces.
Three Palestinian protesters who clashed with IDF forces in Abu Dis were arrested by officers from the Israel Border Police’s elite Mista’arvim unit on Friday. During the riots in the village, dozens of Palestinians gathered and set tires on fire and threw rocks and Molotov cocktails at Israeli troops.
In footage from the village, the Mista’arvim officers are seen arresting a suspect that they caught red-handed during a riot. One of the suspects was arrested when he was using a slingshot to help him hurl marbles at the forces.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Palestinians clashed with IDF forces near the Israeli settlement of Beit El in the West Bank on Friday afternoon. In addition, Palestinians in the northern Gaza Strip rioted near the security barrier in the Beit Hanoun area, prompting the IDF forces on the Israeli side of the border to respond to their violent behavior.
Earlier today, Nablus residents threw Molotov cocktails at IDF soldiers who were in the city to make an arrest. The IDF was put on high alert Friday morning as the tensions in the West Bank were expected to rise following yesterday’s incidents in which two Palestinians were killed during violent riots.
