Today, first footage of Elor Azaria was published since returning home. Azaria was found guilty for shooting and killing a neutralized and unarmed Palestinian terrorist.
For the first time since being arrested 18 months ago for shooting and killing a neutralized and unarmed Palestinian terrorist, Elor Azaria was released under full house arrest until July 30th. On that day, a decision regarding his appeal and the appeal of the Military Prosecution will be made.
Today (Thursday), the first footage of Azaria since his release was published by journalist Sharon Gal who has been accompanying the family. “Thank God that Elor is home,” Gal wrote on his Facebook page. “The family is finally smiling…Elor thanks you from the bottom of his heart for the support and love. We will pray for his full acquittal in several days, an acquittal that will put an end to this nightmare.”

Azaria arrived at home around 6AM and received a warm welcome from his family and friends. In addition to being released home, Azaria completed his military service today.
According to the judge’s decision, Azaria will stay at his parents’ home in Ramla and will only be allowed to leave the house for prayers at the synagogue under his parents’ accompaniment.
