Streets in the Sharon region are flooded due to the heavy amounts of rain that has fallen in Israel recently. In Ra’anana, policemen rescued civilians from their cars. In addition, flight delays were reported at Ben-Gurion Airport.
A number of streets flooded in Herzliya and Ra’anana this afternoon (Monday) because of the heavy rainstorms in central Israel. Emergency forces were called to rescue civilians from vehicles and building.
In Ra’anana, policemen were called to rescue civilians from vehicles that were stuck in the flooded streets. One of the vehicles that needed to be rescued was a shuttle for handicapped passengers. The emergency forces rescued 4 people and 2 children in total.

In Herzliya, a kindergarten was flooded and firemen rescued the children.
At Ben-Gurion Airport, thirty-minute delays were reported because of the weather.
