Today, dozens of radical Haredi protesters arrived at the IDF Recruitment Center and confronted the police. 12 suspects were arrested after throwing objects at the police officers.
Today (Tuesday), dozens of radical Haredi protesters gathered in front of the entrance to the IDF Recruitment Center in Jerusalem. At one point, the protesters blocked the road, disrupted the traffic and disregarded police instructions.
After being dispersed, the protesters returned to a different place and began confronting the police. According to the police, some of the protesters threw stones, eggs and different objects at the officers. Others blocked the road and prevented vehicles from passing. 12 suspects were arrested.
Earlier today, two protesters that arrived at the recruitment center were arrested. As reported by JOL on Sunday, hundreds of yeshiva students blocked central areas of the city to demonstrate against their recruitment to the IDF.
