The report on Hezbollah’s TV station shows the damaged vehicle of a local resident, which was apparently hit by IDF gunfire.
A Hezbollah-owned television station has shown the apparent aftermath of Wednesday’s fire exchange on the Israeli-Lebanese border.
The report shows the damaged vehicle of a local resident who claims he was driving with his son towards the border town of Kafr Kila, when suddenly his vehicle was hit by IDF gunfire.
“I pushed my son’s head down and told him to keep it down, and I stopped until the shooting was over,” the man recounts.
The incident began when an unknown source fired at an IDF force near the border, injuring one soldier in his hand. The force fired back and hit the vehicle.

Hezbollah has so far refrained from issuing a statement regarding the shooting incident. Lebanese security officials have denied that it even took place.
