Mount Hermon was painted white on Friday morning with light snowfall and high wind gusts. Temperatures will remain relatively low during the holiday, though no heavy rain is expected.

A few centimeters of snow piled up in the upper level of Mount Hermon on Friday morning. There are currently high wind gusts in the area with temperatures close to 0°C.

Elsewhere in the country, temperatures are dropping ahead of the Passover Seder, though heavy rainfall is not expected. The Hermon site will be open free of charge over the holiday weekend.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise slightly as many Israeli families will visit nature sites across the country.
