The British Police arrested four people on suspicion of engaging in terrorist activity within the country. In one of the arrests, documented on camera, one can witness under cover police officers jumping on the suspect in the middle of a busy street. “I heard a commotion and when I looked out the window, I saw police officers grasping a man and taking him down to the floor,” one of the witnesses stated.
British Police officers arrested yesterday in London four people on suspicion of engaging in terrorist activities. Security camera footage was published on British television that showed under-cover police officers arresting one of the suspects in the middle of the streets of the capital city, when he was surrounded by people.
Photographs revealed yesterday on Great Britain’s ITV Channel documented the arrest of the suspect, age 28 and of Azerbaijani descent, while standing outside a Mediterranean restaurant in western London.
The four were arrested in a raid intended to prevent terrorist activities. The police related that they planned and initiated terrorist acts. Additionally, they conducted searches on six streets across London, in an attempt to find additional evidence related to their terrorist acts.
The suspects were caught by the police at a number of different addresses in the British capital city during Sunday evening and were taken to a police station in the southern part of the city. A resident of London, who witnessed the public arrest, stated, “I heard a commotion and when I looked out the window, I saw police officers grasping a man and taking him down to the floor.” The witness added, “I didn’t know what the origin of the man was, but the whole thing lasted only a few minutes.”
