Today, special Israeli undercover security forces operated during a riot in the West Bank and arrested three rioters. One of the rioters threw a Molotov cocktail at the forces.
Today (Wednesday), special forces of the Israel Police and the Border Police operated during a riot in the Palestinian city of Ramallah in the West Bank.
Approximately 400 Palestinians took part in the disturbance, lit tires on fire and threw Molotov cocktails and stones at the security forces. During the riot, undercover forces that were deployed among the crowd managed to arrest three rioters. According to the police, none of the security forces were injured and the suspects were arrested and brought in for questioning.
Several riots erupted in the West Bank throughout the day as part of another Palestinian ‘day of rage’ following the US recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. According to Palestinian media outlets, three people were injured during riots in the Yitzhar junction and Qalqilya areas.
