Police forces in Judea and Samaria made arrests following the violent incident in Qusra village.  The Nationalist Crime Unit of the Central Police Unit in Judea and Samaria, in collaboration with the Israeli Border Patrol, arrested seven Jewish suspects last night who are believed to be involved with the affair.  The Israeli Police are expecting more arrests later on.

The suspects, four minors and three men, residents of Judea and Samaria, will be taken later today to discuss extending their detention in the Jerusalem Magistrate Court.  Some of the suspects had been detained Tuesday night, after the incident in Qusra village, yet were released.  The Jewish community in Judea and Samaria professes that they were unarmed and temporarily held hostage by a group of violent Palestinians who beat them, while the Palestinians claim that they foiled a price tag attack and prevented them from being lynched.   The police are investigating which version is correct.

Simultaneously, last night three youths, residents of the Talmon and Shadmot-Mehola communities, were arrested.  The police suspect that the three, between ages 19-23, intended to harm an Israel Land Authority clerk, because of his order to demolish buildings in Judea and Samaria.   Fuel tanks and announcements against demolishing Jewish buildings in Judea and Samaria were found on the three.   The three will be brought to the Nazareth Magistrate Court to discuss extending their detention.

The Jewish community in Judea and Samaria condemned the arrest of the three Jewish youths: “We are surprised by the quickness of the police to make this announcement early in the morning even though they knew that these weren’t price tag teenagers.  It is said that this is organized activity.”  According to them, the fuel tanks were supposed to fill their personal needs, while the distribution of fliers is not threatening.
