Two months after U.S. President Donald Trump entered the White House, media outlets in America are still talking about his inauguration ceremony. According to a New York Magazine reporter, three different people heard former U.S. President George W. Bush say that the ceremony was “some weird shit” as he was leaving the venue.

Former U.S. President George W. Bush reportedly described the inauguration ceremony of America’s 45th president, which he watched from within his rain poncho, as a strange event.

“The inauguration of Donald Trump was a surreal experience for pretty much everyone who witnessed it,” wrote reporter Yashar Ali from The New York Magazine. Hillary and Bill Clinton also attended the ceremony.

For the most part, former presidents don’t like to share with the media their thoughts about important events such as this one but according to Ali’s report, three people who were there heard what the former president thought about the ceremony. As he was leaving the venue, the three claim that he said: “That was some weird shit.”

A spokesman for the Bush family reportedly declined to comment.
